Me Before You – Jojo Moyes

I feel like this is going to be a hard review to write because I am still an emotional wreck! This is a powerful book and I don’t know if I can put my thoughts and feelings into words but I’m gonna try. Sooo…let’s get to it!

The writing is simple and yet it is beautiful.  This is the first book I read by Jojo Moyes and I lam in love  with her writing. I may have picked up two of her other books just because I am in love with her style and the way she tells/unfold a story. In Me Before You the story goes by so fast but you can also fill the length of the six months the story is told in. The plot and the characters are clever and fanatically written. Louisa Clark is the perfect character – she has flaws, she make mistakes, she is so human-like and I love it! She has great character development. This story is very character driven. All of the characters bring something to the story rather it is something small or large. The characters and the story they tell really bring home this book for me. I am not going to go into what happens within the book because this is a spoiler free review but you need to read this book! This book is one you won’t forget. I can go on and on about it but I try to keep my reviews pretty short.

So in short…

  • Great writing
  • Awesome characters
  • Beautiful story/powerful meaning
  • READ IT!!

I gave this book a five out of five stars on Goodreads and remember if you read this book please have tissues!
