I was sent this book from the author in exchange for an honest review! This is the second book in the Eternal Darkness series and I was blown away by this book.  The writing has improved from the 1st book and the story is becoming richer. If you haven’t seen my review for the first book then please check here.

Like I said in my review for Eternal Darkness I thought this book would be amazing because the first book set up such a fantastic world. The war between humans and cyborgs was taken to the next level. I loved that this book doesn’t sugar coat war because war isn’t nice or romantic.

There’s so much that I could say about this book! The plot was fast paced – I was never bored while reading it. I loved learning more and more about Scarlet’s past (the main character). One of my favorite things was the point of view from all the main cast. I loved reading from everyone’s view point because it let me see this world from the eyes of different personalities.

The only reason I can’t give this book a full five stars is because of the almost love-triangle but luckily I think it won’t be happening but I can’t give way too much since this is a spoil free review.

Pros:

  • Fast paced
  • Great plot – story moving forward beautifully
  • Writing improved

Cons:

  • Almost love triangle

I highly recommend this series! Please check it out.
