May’s Haul

I got 15 books this month and I only read five books this month…why do I keep getting so many books and only reading like five of them?!

I, Bunny, have a book buying problem and I can’t be stopped!

I solemnly swear I will keep buying books.

I am going to break this haul up into three sections. Publishers, books I bought, and friends. This month I got a fair few books from some publishing companies and one of my friends bought me a book! Friends who buy you books are keepers. And the rest of the books are the ones that I bought myself.

Let’s jump right into it then!

The Romeo Catchers by Alys Arden

A special thanks to Amazon Publishing and Sky Scape for sending me a copy of this beautiful book! The cover is out of this world amazing!

The Romeo Catchers is the second book to The Casquette Girls.

The Watchmarker of Filigree Street by Natasha Pulley

A lovely lady at Bloomsbury Publishing sent me this epic book – I mean look at the cover! I love old watches so I think this is pretty cool. Plus, it is set in the Victorian London and Japan! What more could you ask for?

the bedlam

The Bedlam Stacks by Natasha Pulley

This book comes out this August and Bloomsbury was kind enough to send me a advance reading copy! I am super excited for this book because the cover looks so interesting. I don’t know much about this book but I want to go into this book without knowing a lot.

League of American Traitors by Mathew Landis

Amazon Publishing and Sky Pony Press send me an ARC and I am overjoyed! This brings two things I love together. American History and Young Adult Fiction!

This comes out this August and it is a mash between Hamilton and National Treasure.

Books I Bought:

the casquette girls

The Casquette Girls by Alys Arden

Since the publishing company sent me the second book I had to buy the first book! At least that is what I am telling myself to justify buying this book.

I am currently reading this and I am loving it!

I didn’t buy this book but I bought four of the other books that are in this series…I am not even sure what order they go in BUT they were 50 cents a piece! I couldn’t say no too them.

Dragonfly In Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn, and The Fiery Cross are the four books that I picked up and if you happen to know what order these go in then please tell me in the comments! I am going to link the first book in case any of you want to check this series out.

7 deadlies

Seven Deadlies by Gigi Levangie

I bought this book because it was only $1 and the cover is so cute!

(I have no idea what this is about or anything but let’s click the Goodreads link together and see if I just wasted $1 or not!)

the conspiracy

The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall

I also picked this book up for $1 and I think it will be a fun read. Lately I have been in the mood for cheesy romance with some kind of supernatural element and I think this will be a great fix for the mood I am in.

Friends & Other:

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

My lovely friend bought me ACOWAR and I just love her for it! This is my favorite series of all time and the ending ruined me!

If you haven’t read this series then you NEED too, okay? Okay.

lady of sherwood

Lady of Sherwood by Molly Bilinski

This book came in the Lit Cube subscription box for this month and it is about a female Robin Hood! It sounds pretty epic.

  1. I usually don’t buy a lot of books, but I got a surprisingly large number last month?? The Bedlam Stacks and The Casquette Girls look REALLY good; I look forward to hearing your thoughts! This month, a few books I bought are Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys, Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, and Note to Self by Connor Franta 🙂 I also just checked out seven books from the library – eke!! I’m swimming in unread books, help.
