Monsters come in many forms, and not everyone knows a monster when they see one.”

I am giving this book 4 stars! I really enjoyed reading this. It is like a journey book…going on a journey to find answers. If you don’t care for books or series like that then this won’t be for you BUT if you are all about going on a journey with the characters and learning everything slowly with them then this is series for you.

A book of mysteries! You will be left wondering who the real monster is.

The writing style is wonderful! It is simple but lovely. I have to talk about how we get point of views from all of the main characters! I think that it is great that the author did this since they are going on this journey. We get to see it from all sides.

One of the reasons I won’t be giving it a full 5 stars is because I wish there was more funny and witty dialogue between the characters. Lastly, I also wish we got more answers about what is going on but I have high hopes for the 2nd book, more world building.

Overall, I love the story and I am excited to see where the plot is going. The plot kind of reminds me of Lords of the Rings mix with Uprooted by Naomi Novik. It is a good opening book into a series and I am hoping for more as the series goes on. So, please give this book a go!
