A story full of magic, fun and nostalgia! If you are a fan of Harry Potter, School for Good and Evil series, and Percy Jackson then this book will bring you back to a whimsical world.

When I first picked up this book I didn’t expected to adore it as much as I do! Now, get ready for a shock…I haven’t read Harry Potter so I feel like this book gave me that magic-happy feeling that people say they feel for Harry Potter. This book is so cute and cozy and I really need the next book in the series…like yesterday!

I love the world it is set in! That’s what make this book so amazing and interesting, from the magic to the creatures.

The main Character, Ivy Lovely, she is a bit sassy, very curious and she is just ordinary! She is a girl trying to figure it all out and learn. She is a refreshing character to read.

Let’s talk about the writing style because OH MY GOSH! It is so beautiful! The writing will just capture you. The story give off this mysterious vibe while being fun and easy to read. I highly recommend this book and it is perfect for kids as well! I would put it in Middle Grade if I was rating it.
